Adult course

The most effective way to learn to sail is by following the proven program set by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA). The adult beginner courses, Levels 1 and 2, offer a safe and structured introduction to the world of dinghy sailing.

At SESCA, we follow the RYA National Sailing Scheme, which consists of 3 Levels. Each level builds on the previous one, leading to a certificate that allows sailors to track their progress. As a RYA Recognised Training Centre, SECSA is authorized to run RYA courses and issue certificates.

Additionally, the scheme includes continuous assessment. If a sailor masters a skill from the next level, their instructor can sign it off, even if it's part of a higher level. Once all components of a level are completed, a prestigious RYA certificate is awarded!
