Welcome to SESCA
Whether you are into dinghy sailing (pottering or racing), canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding or just like the great outdoors, we are sure that you will find a warm welcome and something of interest at our Club near Bury St Edmunds in West Suffolk.
SESCA's 2024 season has now finished.
The on-water activities at Lackford Lake are now suspended until the end of March 2025.
When open, the Lake can be used at anytime during daylight hours, providing two adult Members are on site.
During our normal season ...
Dinghy racing is held every Sunday morning with 3 races scheduled, starting at 10.30 am.
Paddlesport training sessions are held on Tuesday evenings from 5.30 pm.
Youth Group sessions are held on Saturday mornings from 10 am.
WASH Sailing with disabilities sessions are held every Tuesday; Thursday mornings; and the 1st and 3rd Saturday afternoons each month.
YPA (Young People Afloat) sessions are held on Wednesday evenings from 5 pm
Sea and Air Cadet, and Scout activities take place during the evenings and at weekends throughout the season
Local schools make use of the facilities throughout the season.
