Environmental Protection

From time to time, Members will use their personal craft on waters other than Lackford Lake. Members need to be conscious of the risk to the environment from Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS).

This specifically involves "Checking, Cleaning and Drying" your craft, clothing, footwear and equipment whenever you remove your craft from Lackford Lake for use on other water and before returning it to the Lake.

SESCA has been a Member of British Canoeing, and more information can be found on this topic on the BC website: Access and Environment

More details are also posted in the Clubhouse.
