The Big Day!

posted May 16, 2014, 12:40 PM by SESCA admin
The forecast is looking good for tomorrow. Hopefully, we're all set for the big day. Thanks to those who helped with the working party yesterday, particularly Will who brought along his ride on tractor, which saved hours of work. We will be kicking off around 9 am putting up flags and bunting etc and rigging boats. The first guests should arrive around 10.30 am. We could still do with a few more hands to help with car park marshalling, the galley and relief helms, especially if we get a large number of visitors, so please bring along any potential helpers. BBC Radio Suffolk have asked to do a telephone interview on Saturday and a photographer from the EADT is coming on Sunday, so we should get some good publicity.
I'm very glad that Kathy has been able to arrange the ice-cream van again. Hope everyone has a fun day!
