Laying Up Day

posted Nov 24, 2015, 2:30 AM by SESCA admin
It was a glorious day to end the season and great to see seven boats out racing. It was made even more enjoyable by be able to come ashore for Kathie's fantastic laying up lunch - comprising roast beef, Yorkshire puddings and apple crumble. Several people suggested that this should become a more regular occurrence. After lunch, the good crowd of helpers managed to get the Club boats packed up, turned over and tied down in record time. Thanks to everyone who assisted.

The AGM and prizegiving are being held in the clubhouse on Thursday, 26th November starting at 7.30 pm. Several people have already come forward to serve on the committee and help with various projects next year but we would still be pleased to hear from more volunteers.
