Autumn breeze

After the previous weeks gales, from which the dinghy park fortunately survived unscathed, a few brave soles ventured out onto the lake last Sunday led by our intrepid Commodore. The breeze was still very gusty and shifty, which provided some interesting sailing and several capsizes to the amusement of the spectators. One race, however, proved to be sufficient as all the participates felt a bit battered and exhausted by the time they got ashore.
Next weekend sees two more races counting towards the winter series and the day prize of the Beaujolais Bottle.
