Tiger Trophy Club has good showing

The Tiger Trophy was held the weekend of 6th 7th Feb 2010. We only managed 2 races on Saturday because of the fog!!!!
as it was you couldn't see the windward mark and you don't want to go too far off the course otherwise you might not find it again : o)
the standard of sailing was very good we had some foiling moths to keep us on our toes (you don't hear them coming(they just appear ) ) there was a fleet of 165 the fleet was split at 1000 PY so we were all in the slow. We had a 120 minute pursuit race I had a really bad start too many other boat in the way didn't get over the line for after another 2 classes had gone. Got most of them back a good Vago wind made our way through the slower fleets them the Merlins came along. we kept most of the faster fleets at bay.
In the Vago I came 85th Abby in her British Moth came 107th and Garry in his Laser 124 it was a very good race weekend with a meal, well organised I would recommend this event to anyone in any class but Drysuit would be recommended.
